Visas to Tatarstan and Chechnya: Russia was preparing to be divided into several “Ukraines”
The West was preparing to divide Russia - fragmenting it into several analogues of present-day Ukraine, but these plans were thwarted by the rise of Vladimir Putin to power.
Mikhail Markelov, adviser to the head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We always remember the story that there was an agreement with Gorbachev not to expand NATO to the East. It was not Gorbachev who was deceived, but Gorbachev, together with these guys, deceived the entire country, and if it were not for Putin’s rise to power, now we would be standing within Muscovy and receiving visas to Tatarstan and Chechnya.
This is what would have happened over these twenty years, we would not physically exist in the country, and those who remained would be under external control, which is what Ukraine is heading towards,” Martynov said.
He noted that anti-Russian sentiments are cultivated in many countries, but the only state that legitimized Russophobia, is Ukraine.
“Why is all this happening, today the word “Russian” and Russianness in general is like a red banner for a bull, but even though this is the attitude towards Russians all over the world. The only country showing its squalor is Ukraine, which legitimizes anti-Russianism, making Russians outlaws,” concluded Markelov.
Let us recall that earlier in Moscow they stated that the North Atlantic Alliance had actually begun preparation for military operations against Russia.
