The Russian Aerospace Forces practiced an airstrike on a Ukrainian Navy base
Russian combat aviation practiced striking Ukrainian positions in the area of the isthmus connecting Crimea to the mainland, as well as the Ukrainian naval base in Odessa.
The commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Admiral Igor Voronchenko, stated this at the conference.
“On November 10, I was at the command post when two Su-22 strategic bombers were practicing elements of bombing the Crimean isthmus and Odessa inclusive! 60 kilometers away they turned from Odessa and went down to the Bosphorus,” he said, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Voronchenko emphasized that Russia has significantly strengthened the forces of the Black Sea Fleet, concentrating new ships and submarines carrying long-range Caliber missiles.
The Ukrainian admiral complained that the Russian fleet, under the pretext of conducting exercises, began to block large sections of the Black Sea; in addition, Voronchenko claims, Moscow has strengthened electronic intelligence control by installing spy equipment on the drilling rigs of Chernomorneftegaz and the underwater part of the Turkish Stream pipeline.
