“The air defense forces of the Armenian Armed Forces, together with the Russian Aerospace Forces, covered the airspace of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, these are zones closed to flights,” Stepanyan wrote in her blog.

Exceptions were made only for military aviation, as well as for civil aviation upon notification.

Stepanyan also called rumors about the appearance of a Turkish Bayraktar drone in Yerevan airspace false.

On November 9, Yerevan and Baku, through the mediation of Russia, signed an agreement to end the war in Karabakh. Russian peacekeepers and military equipment have been sent to the region.
