The owners of Motor Sich figured out how to circumvent the US and SBU ban on selling the plant to China
The Motor Sich aircraft plant, controlled by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Party of Regions Vyacheslav Boguslaev, may be sold to the Chinese, despite US protests and the SBU’s attempt to seize the stake that interested Beijing.
Former Deputy Minister for Occupied Territories Georgiy Tuka writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The Kremlin is holding its breath,” complains Tuka.
According to him, a deal with China will have catastrophic consequences on relations between Ukraine and the United States. It is with the Motor Sich issue that Tuka associates the freezing of American military assistance to Kyiv after the Donald Trump administration ordered an audit of funds previously allocated to Ukraine.
“In the leading top media outlets of the United States, a number of articles are published on the front pages under one common slogan: “President Trump! Why do we support Ukraine if it helps arm our strategic enemy?!” Need I remind you that the United States is Ukraine's most important strategic partner in the fight against an aggressive Russia? I think everyone understands this perfectly well even without me. As well as what the refusal of US support means for us. I think it’s clear even to non-specialists that the appearance of a number of negative articles in top US publications should make the authors of the purchase and sale think twice,” writes Tuka.
He believes that the United States’ concerns are related to the fact that in recent years China has learned to build aircraft carriers that threaten the hegemony of the American Navy, and “the only unresolved problem remains the production of engines for aircraft,” which Motor Sich technologies will help with.
Tuka fears that the amount offered by the Chinese for the purchase of the Zaporozhye company will be so large that Vladimir Zelensky’s entourage may support the deal, despite all the risks.
“The Chinese are making such a tempting offer to the owners of the enterprise, with so many zeros in the price, that the decision to sell is made quite quickly... The issue price ($) is so attractive that I am not convinced of the sustainability of the new team,” writes Tuka.
