The owner of the Musson shopping center claims lawlessness in Sevastopol
The owner of the largest shopping center “Musson” in Sevastopol, Vladimir Plotka, told reporters that the city government plans to demolish the building of the complex, despite the presence of all documents confirming the legality of the shopping center.
According to him, despite the decisions of the court and Rosreestr on the legality of the occupied area, the Sevastopol authorities filed a lawsuit for the demolition of 15 objects of the complex.
“The government filed a lawsuit against us to demolish the entire Monsoon. The day before yesterday was the first meeting. But they had already brought feedback on one of the buildings to this meeting - this is the boiler room. And for all the rest, although they are legally available, they do not recall them. A lawsuit was filed for demolition, the lawsuit was filed without verification. There was no inspection - they simply filed a lawsuit to demolish all the Monsoon buildings. After this lawsuit, Rosreestr checked our buildings in connection with the actual use of land and buildings, compliance,” said Plotka.
“We have a decision from the Russian court that we are correctly located on this land from 2016, we have a decision from the Russian Register that we are correctly located on this land. We are already tired of saying and tired of giving them documents that we are correctly located on this land,” he added.
The entrepreneur saw in the government's actions the personal interest of the governor of Sevastopol, Dmitry Ovsyannikov.
“The governor said six months ago, a year ago, that he has no interests in my business. What he meant, I now begin to understand. Apparently, he has no personal interests. Now one head of land control has been arrested. Well, that’s how they extorted, they created obstacles to re-registration, to legalization. They extorted bribes to remove this obstacle. They didn’t approach me directly, but considering that the governor said before that he has no interests in my business, I think it’s connected,” the businessman said.
Let us remind you that after the tragedy in the Winter Cherry shopping center in Kemerovo, the authorities of Sevastopol organized an inspection of city shopping centers. Later, the largest shopping center “Musson” was closed. As PolitNavigator reported, many entrepreneurs during this time, having lost their retail space, simply lost their business. And buyers go to Simferopol. According to estimates from the largest shopping center in Crimea, Meganom, their network acquired about 5 thousand new clients as a result of the Sevastopol events.
In a comment to PolitNavigator Federation Council Senator Olga Timofeeva stated that a redistribution of spheres of influence is taking place in Sevastopol according to the most severe scenario.
