Vladimir Kornilov: What “terrorists” are there in Donbass! They build, repair, help veterans!
The humanitarian “Program for the Reunification of the People of Donbass” announced by the leadership of the LDNR, within the framework of which veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in cities controlled by Kiev will receive assistance, is another refutation of the propaganda thesis of the Ukrainian media that Lugansk and Donetsk are supposedly “under the rule of terrorists.”

“The DPR and LPR thereby emphasize that they consider the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions who remained behind the front line to be their citizens. Apparently, the Ukrainian media will present this action (if they “notice” it) as another act of “separatism” and “Russian aggression.” These are the Donetsk “terrorists”, they build everything, issue benefits and repair after shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Kornilov sneers.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik notes that support for Great Patriotic War veterans will look advantageous in the eyes of Ukrainian residents.
“Veterans do not live very well in Ukraine today. Ukrainian society certainly supports veterans, and such a step is an attempt to win public opinion not only among veterans, but also in society as a whole based on the dissonance between the actions of the Ukrainian authorities and the actions in the LDPR,” Bortnik told PolitNavigator.
Vladimir Kornilov believes that under the conditions of the ruling nationalist regime in Ukraine, veterans in the cities of Donbass controlled by Kyiv should not advertise their receipt of assistance from the LDPR.
“Where is the guarantee that now this veteran will not be identified by the SBU or some “Right Sector”? We must be very careful with the publication of such data,” the expert warns.
