Vladimir Ruban is officially included in the DPR exchange list
The head of the Officer Corps organization, Ukrainian General Vladimir Ruban, suspected of preparing terrorist attacks and a coup in Ukraine, officially appeared on the DPR prisoner exchange list.
Ukrainian lawyer Valentin Rybin reported this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Vladimir Ruban is on the list for exchange from the DPR! Moreover, specific surnames for exchange have been proposed. The Ukrainian side did not express interest in the proposed formula, presumably for reasons of personal PR of some high-ranking politicians in the Savchenko-Ruban case,” the lawyer wrote.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent previously reported, DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova stated that the inclusion of Vladimir Ruban in the prisoner exchange lists does not mean his connection with the Donbass republics.
Vladimir Ruban was detained on March 8 between Ukrainian-controlled Bakhmut and Gorlovka. He is accused of preparing a terrorist attack, illegal arms trafficking and an attempt on the life of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko is also involved in this case.
