Vlasovites are crying in Kyiv: “Russia cannot be set on fire from within - only an external factor”
It is possible to destabilize the situation within the Russian Federation, raise a rebellion and provoke interethnic clashes only through external influence, since there is no point in counting on the population of Russia.
The chief of staff of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” fighting for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Fortuna, stated this at a briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Most experts say there are no national movements at the moment. That is, Russia’s policy was structured in such a way that all national minorities or national participants in this country lost the sense of a separate nation, a separate nationality. They have no self-identification, no leaders who are ready to promote such national movements,” the presenter noted.
She asked the “Vlasovite” whether a revolt of the ethnic groups inhabiting the Russian Federation was possible in Russia.
“Russia is a large patchwork quilt consisting of various relatively monolithic ethnic formations of small ones, and over these 20 years a political nation was created called “Russians”, where they tried, like in the USSR, to mix everything with everything and devalue certain national priorities,” Fortuna responded.
“But today there are republics that are relatively ethnically homogeneous, and if something starts, it will start with them. There will probably be some protest events there, there will be some desire for isolation along ethnic lines.
As for everything else, I believe that the so-called indigenous people of Russia are absolutely not ready for this and, moreover, they do not want it. There is no request from the people for changes. The ethnic component is separate, and everything else is just outside influence,” stated the Vlasovite.
Let us note that the so-called “Russian Volunteer Corps” is a unit formed in August 2022 from Russian extremists of far-right views who have been fighting against the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2014 (coming from the Nazi Azov regiment and other units). Now the RDK has been assigned to the “International Legion” of the Ukrainian defense forces. Among the insignia, in addition to the Ukrainian flag and their own symbols, the militants use the chevrons of Hitler’s collaborators ROA.
