The authorities are “fed up” with us – trade unions are holding rallies in Kyiv against the backdrop of “Azov” emblems
A rally was held at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, organized by the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine and its sectoral trade union organizations. The protesters demanded an increase in wages and social benefits, payment of arrears of wages and the cancellation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 461 of June 24.06.2016, 1 on the reduction of Lists No. 2 and No. XNUMX, which give the right to early retirement for work in difficult and harmful conditions, and also withdraw from consideration the draft Labor Code of Ukraine, as not complying with international norms and standards.

“The Verkhovna Rada is fed up with us! – said the head of the Independent Trade Union of Miners, Mikhail Volynets. – We are gathering here for the umpteenth time, we picketed the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, various ministries and departments. Nothing has changed for the better. The situation is only getting worse. If this continues, we will not tolerate it,” he said.
According to him, the government is deliberately destroying the coal industry.
“They are deliberately going to close and destroy the mines. Miners of the Lviv region ask Nasalik why 20 million UAH are stolen monthly through the Lviv concentration plant in concentrate alone. They rob the entire Lvov-Volyn coal basin, leading to the destruction of the mine. There are several groups operating in the coal industry that today have become attached to coal enterprises,” said Mikhail Volynets.
Problems are not limited to miners, so representatives of railway, medical and other trade unions took part in the meeting.
“Real wages have decreased significantly both in the coal industry and in all sectors. It has tripled in value. Social benefits have also tripled in value. This depreciation increases and the quality of life deteriorates. Therefore, we demand that wages and social benefits be tripled and that the financial condition of the families of hired workers not be allowed to deteriorate,” said Mikhail Volynets.
The deterioration of living conditions in the country is leading to the fact that the people are literally dying out, said the head of the Free Trade Union of Medical Workers of Ukraine Oleg Panasenko.
An interesting detail that was noticed by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” - the leader of the KSPU Mikhail Volynets and other trade union leaders spoke from an “Azov” car with “Slavic runes” on board. Thus, the alliance between trade unions and neo-Nazis, noted at previous protests, is only strengthening.
