Zelensky’s government is doomed to an early end to its rule – expert
The random selection of personnel for high political positions will lead the Kyiv authorities to distrust from the population and the failure of their policies.
The former deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine during the time of Viktor Yanukovych, lawyer Andrei Portnov, stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I consider the government’s personnel policy to be completely random. Look: their former prime minister was appointed by coincidence. Let's just analyze the fight card for a year ago, the new president of Ukraine before his presidency was involved in show business management, this is a successful project, I believe that he has achieved very serious success here.
But under what circumstances could he meet with the former prime minister or the current one, or with the prosecutors general of both yesterday and today? That is, what should have brought him together with them, what should they have talked about, they have different areas of interest. In other words, I want to say that these people never saw each other, never met, did not know anything about each other,” he said.
The lawyer also noted that Zelensky and his team were entrusted with power at random, and they make personnel decisions accordingly.
“This means that they are entrusted with power at random, they are a random coincidence in time and space. An eye fell on them because someone, also just as random, walked past and said: “I have a good friend, he is a second cousin of my great-grandmother’s great-nephew, let’s appoint him as prosecutor general, he’s a good guy... super, let’s appoint him.” "
Then water was lost on a duck’s back, another prosecutor general was appointed, nothing happens at all for a month and a half, not a single public request has been satisfied, there are no criminal cases,” the expert emphasized.
According to him, the new Ukrainian government will face stagnation and an early end to its rule.
“Therefore, when we talk about personnel policy, we must proceed from the fact that this is a random personnel policy, and against the background of everyone who was proposed and appointed by the president, against the background of 90% of the personnel, Mikheil Saakashvili looks two heads taller than all of them together taken, with the result of work in Georgia.
I am not a fan of personnel policy, I don’t care whether they appoint Mikheil Saakashvili or not, this is their internal kitchen. I believe that they are all doomed to a sharp deterioration in sociological indicators, to stagnation, to mistrust, failure and the early end of their rule,” Portnov concluded.
