Zelensky's power is rapidly weakening
The power of President Zelensky in Ukraine is crumbling - the head of state is no longer listened to even in his own faction, the government has not been fully formed, and the real management of the country is passing to the oligarchs and external partners.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It seems that today the power is crumbling and we see that in parliament the situation is actually already a coalition, the government until this time, a hundred days later, is unformed, some ministers are missing, the ministries have not been reformed, the president is gradually losing his influence on the faction. Moreover, these are key, critical, marker questions for the authorities - the program of government activities [for the approval of which there were not enough votes in parliament].
Now the factions don’t really want to hear the president, even his decrees and requests, the president needs to negotiate with the faction and offer something in return. We live in a period, despite the fact that only a year has passed since the formation of the new team, we live in a period when this power is crumbling, the controllability of the situation is falling and power is gradually shifting to the traditional centers of influence - oligarchs, external partners and regional elites,” - Bortnik said.
