DPR authorities called on residents of the republic not to pay loans to Kyiv banks
Ukrainian banks are trying to put pressure on residents of the DPR, demanding repayment of loans.

“The Central Regional Bank urges you not to respond to phone calls and SMS messages from financial institutions such as Delta Bank, PrivatBank and other Ukrainian banks with demands for repayment of loan debt,” the message says. — These messages may contain information about fines or forced write-off of debt in case of non-payment. Thus, Ukrainian banks are trying to exert psychological pressure on borrowers.”
The Ministry of Finance emphasized that repayment of debts by the population will become possible only “after these financial institutions have completed the registration procedure on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, or the settlement of financial relations between the DPR and Ukraine at the interstate level.”
