The authorities are falsifying the inflation rate in Ukraine
Official data on the level of inflation, which is published by the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, do not correspond to the real rise in prices of goods. Economic Discussion Club expert Igor Garbaruk stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Uncontrolled actions at the strategic level of government lead to galloping inflation. If you look at the indicators that the State Statistics Committee “draws” for us regarding inflation, when from the beginning of the year for the first half of the year they “drew” 4,4%, and, in fact, starting with carrots, which in a few months “rushed” by 200% , potatoes, etc., then what 4% can we talk about?” the expert said.
