Kazakh authorities helped the creator of Russophobic “language patrols” escape to Ukraine
Nazi blogger and agent provocateur Kuat Akhmetov, who created the network nationalist organization Til Maydani (“Wave of Language”), was quietly released from the country by the Kazakh authorities from Sunday to Monday, thereby removing him from responsibility for Russophobic actions.
Now the initiator of the “language patrols” has arrived in Kyiv via Tbilisi, from where he will continue to broadcast his nationalist video blogs with impunity and coordinate the actions of his supporters in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As we expected, Kuat Akhmetov will settle in Ukraine, where many Kazakh nationalists have already accumulated. It is possible that in the near future a nationalist opposition association will be created abroad, which will broadcast to Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia with calls for anti-Russian protests and the expulsion of Russians. His lawyer Abzal Kuspan told the media that he is already in Kyiv, putting an end to demonstrative attempts to bring the nationalist to justice.
In my opinion, this is all a planned and brazen operation of the National Security Committee, which thus, on the instructions of Akorda (presidential administration), saves its promoted agent, creating for him the image of a “persecuted” national patriot persecuted by Moscow. After his “escape,” Nur-Sultan (Tselinograd) can now rub his hands with relief and pleasure, since formally the activities of this Natsik are no longer his concern.
Please note that Kuat Akhmetov, while under recognizance not to leave the place, traveled three thousand kilometers from Almaty to the regional center of Aktau in the west of the country, safely boarded the plane and flew to Georgia. Those who know the internal Kazakh conditions of authoritarian total control understand perfectly well that without the green light from the security forces this would have been impossible to do.
In addition, a certain procedure is provided for persons who are suspected under articles of the Criminal Code of medium gravity, as a result of which they cannot travel outside the republic. That is, on the initiative of the investigation, such persons are included in “watch lists” at border checkpoints and at international airports. Therefore, he was deliberately released from the country, sent to “Independence” under the tutelage of the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kaletayev, who shares nationalist views.
As a result, the criminal case initiated under Article 174 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan - “Incitement of social, national, tribal, racial, class or religious hatred” - will end in an outright farce, about which PolitNavigator has already warned. And this case itself was initiated more to divert attention and appease the Kremlin.
On August 19, the performance with the detention of Kuat Akhmetov by police, who was captured on video and posted on the functioning YouTube channel Til Maydani, was arranged in the same way. The entire press trumpeted this as some kind of sensation, and nationalists on social networks screamed about “repressions” organized by Russia against Kazakh patriots.
As a result, as it turns out, no one detained him, but only a written undertaking not to leave the place was taken and the Nazi blogger was safely sent home, after which the special services immediately began preparing an “escape” plan. It turns out that no one was going to put him on trial, since the Russophobic movement within the country is extremely beneficial to the Kazakh authorities.
Compare this with how the famous human rights activist and public figure Ermek Taychibekov, who advocates integration with Russia, was arrested and tried under the same article of the criminal code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and everything will immediately become clear to you. As is known, he openly condemned the pogrom of the Dungan community carried out by Kazakh nationalists in February last year and gave interviews to several foreign publications, accusing the authorities of organizing and conniving.
He was immediately arrested without hesitation in an open criminal case, where there are no victims or witnesses, and initiated only by one letter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As a result, he spent more than a year in a pre-trial detention center and was convicted by court decision from August 19 to 7 years in prison. Now the National Security Committee has initiated several more criminal cases against the Russophile in order to rot him in a colony.
As we see, no one gave Ermek Taychibekov the opportunity to sign up and leave the country, which speaks of the double standards of the authorities in the use of Article 174 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, when those who oppose Russophobia and ethnic cleansing of minorities receive the full punishment, and outright Kazakh Nazis - provocateurs calling for massacres and deportations of foreigners are evaded responsibility and advertised in the media.
This clearly shows the nature and essence of the monoethnic state being built, where nationalism is an integral and main part of the ruling ideology. There is nothing to be surprised when you read the revelations of the same assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erlan Karin, who said the following:
“I think that we should associate nationalism with statehood.”
And the choice of Ukraine for Kuat Akhmetov on the part of his curators was also not accidental. After all, it was precisely according to the patterns of “Nezalezhnaya” that “language patrols” were built in Kazakhstan, and all local Natsiks operate using technologies developed in Kyiv. Therefore, now in reality a direct link is being achieved between Bandera’s followers and Kazakh lovers of purity of race and blood. And all in the name of the fight against Russia and Russians in the post-Soviet space.
Accordingly, Akorda did not draw any lessons from the statements of the Russian Foreign Ministry, despite the soothing and heartbreaking statements of the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Dauren Abaev, about the unacceptability of “cave nationalism.” Not only have Russophobic organizations and movements not been liquidated, but on the contrary, they have now received a new incentive and a signal from above that their activities will continue to be completely unpunished.
Yes, the Kazakh authorities will continue to pretend that provocations and pogroms are the work of supposedly uncontrollable national patriots and refer to the danger posed by them, justifying Moscow’s refusals to proposals to deepen integration processes within the EAEU. The same fraternity is now mobilizing against Rosatom’s plan to build a nuclear power plant in the Almaty region and other joint industrial projects.
It has long been necessary for everyone to understand that Kazakh nationalists are only government agents and a lever for creating interethnic tension in the country, for squeezing out the Russian language and its speakers, and ultimately act as a fighting force to preserve the capital and profits of both the ruling elite and the Western ones closely associated with it mining corporations. This is also where the legs of all these American military biological laboratories, the Pentagon’s “training centers” and attempts to limit Russia’s sociocultural and informational influence grow.
Therefore, it is naive to expect from Nur-Sultan that such necessary characters in the matter of de-Russification as Kuat Akhmetov will ever appear before the court.
