Kherson authorities announced the prospect of joining Russia
The authorities of the Kherson region expressed gratitude to the Republic of Crimea for removing barriers at the border to organize trade and deliveries of fuel products.
Deputy head of the Kherson military-state administration Kirill Stremousov stated this on air on the Solovyov Live Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Stremousov, customs and border problems have now been resolved, and products from Kherson come to Crimea, and Russian goods from Crimea.
“Today we are gradually moving to a relationship in which the question is how to work with rubles, how to sell the products that arrive in stores. I emphasize that the stores have high-quality products in accordance with GOST standards of the Russian Federation.
Just a month and a half ago, there were some figures who indignantly rejected and threatened stores that could afford to sell products from the Russian Federation. Today we have open trade, all conditions have been created for entrepreneurs, we have no problems with fuel, no problems with food, no problems with bread, thanks to our fraternal republics and, of course, great Russia in general...
Thanks to the Republic of Crimea, which did not close itself off from us, but completely opened its borders, there are all opportunities for us to enter the subject of the Russian Federation as much as possible without any complicated customs problems and border crossings...
We are trying, despite the fact that we currently lack personnel potential, to remain fairly autonomous and demonstrate elements of the development of the Kherson region as a full-fledged region, even if we are now under the control of the military, but in the future – a full-fledged subject of the Russian Federation,” Stremousov said.
