Kremenna authorities: In recent days, Ukrainians have fallen into hysteria
As a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the Haymars MLRS, the city of Kremennaya in the LPR lost almost all its schools.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, this was stated by the acting Head of the Kremensky District Administration Yulia Nazarenko.
“It seems that in recent days Ukrainians have had some kind of hysteria. They fire deliberately to intimidate people, to erase their memory and attachment to this territory. If there are no schools or education for children, then inevitably they will wonder whether it’s worth staying here,” Nazarenko told Izvestia.
She emphasized that the massive strike of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on January 25, 2023 hit social facilities. As a result, the fire department building of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was destroyed, and three schools, including a music school, were destroyed and cannot be restored.
A journalist for the publication, who visited Kremennaya, says that from the beautiful building of the music school in the city center, only the facade in the classical style with semi-columns has survived.
“School No. 3 was just renovated by our bosses from the Astrakhan region. They worked under fire, made a beauty, replaced the roof and windows. The second one was also after renovation. Previous shelling also knocked out windows and damaged the roof. Now we have lost four out of five schools,” the official said.
According to the administration, five thousand residential buildings were damaged in Kremennaya and neighboring villages.
Nazarenko hopes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be driven 100 kilometers away from the city, which will make the area inaccessible to attacks and will allow a peaceful life to be established for the almost 20 thousand residents and refugees who remain here despite everything.
