The Crimean authorities are initiating a defeat of the rights of draft dodgers who fled abroad
The State Council of Crimea is ready to participate in the development of a bill to limit the rights of those liable for military service who left the Russian Federation for the period of partial mobilization.
Chairman of the State Council of the Republic Vladimir Konstantinov told Crimea 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have repeatedly talked about the significance of such a measure for our society, about its moral component. Today our country is going through a difficult period of change. But right now our society is being cleansed of traitors and cowards who are not worthy of being citizens of Russia,” he noted. “Our task is not to allow them to earn money in Russia, to enjoy the benefits available to our citizens. It will be absolutely fair and just.”
The day before, State Duma deputy from Crimea Mikhail Sheremet said on a talk show on Crimea 24 that draft dodgers were already returning back to Russia.
“Rats, of course, are fleeing a sinking ship, but now they are running back. Therefore, we need to put up a barrier so that, God forbid, they do not return. They are there to corrupt society, which is very remarkable. The ship specifically tilted to get rid of this ballast,” Sheremet is sure.
Previously, there was talk of a legislative initiative to amend federal laws that relate to limiting the rights of persons who fled mobilization.
It was proposed to introduce into the federal law “On mobilization preparation and mobilization” a clear ban on the travel of a person liable for military service abroad during the period of general or partial mobilization without the permission of the military commissar.
Also, the law “On control over the activities of persons under foreign influence” will be supplemented with a provision on including fugitives in the register of persons under foreign influence. At the same time, classify as such those who publicly condemn citizens who came out to defend the Fatherland.
