The Crimean authorities will impose tribute on Ukrainian deputies, but will turn a blind eye to the sins of “Consol”
The Crimean authorities will impose a tribute on Ukrainian deputies who built cottages in the parks of the southern coast of the peninsula in previous years. This was stated by the head of the republic Sergei Aksenov.
“The inventory is being taken now. In Miskhorsky, in Vorontsovsky Park, many private cottages were built, belonging to deputies of Ukraine and so on. Local authorities have been tasked with analyzing what the social burden was on these developers. And I’ll tell you straight, it was zero. Everyone who has already built it should receive a social burden today and, with their personal money, equip the city, Yalta in this case. This will be publicly reported. We will demand from all these comrades to make monetary contributions for the development of the municipality... The commission will finish its work after the holiday season. Now we specifically don’t want to make a fuss while tourists are here. Then a decision will be made on this matter, agreed with the federal authorities,” Aksenov said in an interview with Lenta.Ru.

At the same time, Aksenov did not announce similar measures in relation to the Consol company (its former head is the current Speaker of the Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov), which built the Nikitsky Botanical Garden with houses.
“If construction permits were issued in Ukraine, then what can we do now? In addition, bona fide buyers from Crimea, from mainland Russia, who purchased apartments in these buildings, are they to blame for what? They have the entire package of documents in their hands. How can I find a recipe today? If we bring everyone under one law, then we need to budget billions for demolition, and set aside a lot of funds for compensation to Crimeans and Russians. Can you imagine the conflict this will cause? A working commission has been created to assess the situation. The President said in his speech that conscientious buyers should not suffer because of unscrupulous authorities,” Aksenov said.
