Crimean authorities sold RNKB
Moscow - Simferopol, February 2 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - The Crimean authorities sold the largest bank RNKB to the little-known Russian LLC KER. Based on the bank, the new owners intend to expand financing of public-private projects in Crimea in the fields of energy, heat supply and road construction.

According to experts interviewed who learned about the deal "Kommersant", the transaction amount hardly exceeded 4 billion rubles, although the bank’s assets are estimated at no less than 6 billion, and the bank, which has 230 branches and about 600 ATMs in Crimea, showed a net profit of about 2014 billion rubles in 1,5. But the discount is quite understandable, they say: Crimea is under sanctions.
KER LLC, created in 2006, consists of one Russian-French enterprise and six Russian ones. The names of the companies are not mentioned. The company implements projects in the field of electricity, heat supply and road infrastructure. Among its customers are Rosseti, FSK, large generation. The group is known as a layer of submarine cables: in the spring of 2014, the company offered its services to lay a cable along the bottom of the Kerch Strait to Crimea. KER’s current portfolio of orders includes the construction of a highway in the Primorye gambling zone, a Hyatt hotel in Vladivostok, and the infrastructure of special economic zones. The group’s partners in implementing a number of projects are the banks of the VTB and VEB groups. The final beneficiaries of the IER are the President of the IER Group of Companies Igor Lukashenko, the First Vice-President Alexey Baranov, the General Director of the IER Management Company Vladimir Kazintsev, as well as Daria Demchenko, who represents the interests of a number of individuals.
