According to him, the forced eviction was carried out by the executive service after the decision of the regional council. Girnyak noted that now this premises will be occupied by some volunteer organization sponsoring the so-called ATO.
“This is absolutely not an action against Russians or against Russian comradeship in the city of Lvov. We, as a commission, proved that these people and this public organization were in this premises illegally. Accordingly, unanimously, by decision of the session of the regional council, they voted to evict the Russian Cultural Center, which is illegally located in this premises - the first thing, the second thing is to hold a competition among public organizations that are involved in the ATO...
It was an anti-Ukrainian breeding ground, I’m not afraid to say it publicly. We had a completely different attitude to the situation when we came here with the commission and saw the portrait of Valentina Matvienko, when we saw the printed literature that they publish,” said Girnyak.
