The authorities of Sevastopol insist on the demonstrative demolition of a 16-story building on Cape Khrustalny
Sevastopol, May 22 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) - The authorities of Sevastopol say that a technical project is already being prepared for the demolition of the scandalous 16-story building on Cape Khrustalny, which, as the new city leadership found out, was built with violations.
The Government of Sevastopol states that the building will be demolished in any case, despite the protests of shareholders.

In particular, during a meeting of the presidium of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol, acting governor Alexander Svechnikov said: “The head of the city, Sergei Menyailo, has not changed his opinion about this facility. The house is being prepared for demolition. We will see this situation through to the end. We have not yet seen any legal documents from the developer. We don't see who his shareholders are. We don’t see a list of these people.”
Svechnikov also noted that dismantling the structure is a complex technological process that will be carried out strictly in accordance with the project that is currently being prepared.
“The prosecutor’s office is also checking the legality of our actions, since there have been complaints. But, nevertheless, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit to demolish this building. The court will make a decision on this issue,” the official added.
