This was stated by the head of the Department of Communications and Information Technologies of Sevastopol Vadim Dvoryanenko.
“So far we have only one Russian operator - K-Telecom, which operates under the WIN Mobile brand. We are not satisfied with this situation, although the services are provided as efficiently as possible at this stage. But we are cut off from the Russian mainland and now we use only one communication channel - through the Kerch Strait. Therefore, there are serious difficulties,” Dvoryanenko said.
“We hope that in 2015 there will be additional communication channels that will expand our capabilities. And then I really hope that other Russian operators will come to the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol,” the official explained.
