The authorities of Sevastopol introduced additional payments to the pensions of veterans who moved to Crimea after the Russian Spring
The defenders and liberators of Sevastopol, who moved to the city after the reunification of Crimea with Russia, today received the right to receive a special monthly scholarship of 4,5 thousand rubles, established by the government of Sevastopol. Previously, only those veterans who lived in the city before 2014 were eligible for the scholarship.
Today the government has made changes to the procedure for receiving scholarships.

“We need to make sure that we don’t forget anyone from this category. Neither about those who live in Sevastopol, nor about those who come here for permanent residence. If there is a need to quickly make any changes, you prepare them immediately,” said Sevastopol Governor Sergei Menyailo.
According to the director of the Department of Labor and Social Protection Stanislav Borisenko, the number of scholarship recipients due to their age has decreased from 80 to 57 people since the beginning of the year.
Recently, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Russian citizenship was granted to Tatyana Ivanenko, who liberated Crimea and Sevastopol and moved from Lugansk.
