According to her, compared to the Ukrainian period, more vacationers are now traveling to Sevastopol, interested in excursions and visiting museums.
“The demand for holidays in Sevastopol has increased, although last year it was greater than the opportunity to get here. We must talk about such concepts as interest for tourists and the opportunity to get to Crimea and Sevastopol. May and June showed us that the tourist himself is changing. If last year, in connection with the events of the Crimean spring, city hotels were filled with business tourists - businesses, politicians who came to outline the prospects for cooperation with Sevastopol, then this year the tourist segment is increasing not only in the coastal zone, but also in the city center . Previously, a tourist was traveling who wanted to see a lot, but the number of visits to sites did not increase - it was a pity to spend money; a tourist was traveling with limited funds. Last year I was an active tourist, choosing different routes. This year is a continuation of what was interesting last year. Those who left us in 14 confirmed their desire to return to our city,” Colomina said.
