He noted that the law legalizing the death penalty for treason will only be in force for the duration of hostilities.
“We have not introduced the bill yet, because my group is still writing. There are several controversial issues there. As soon as it is completely ready, we will immediately register it in the Verkhovna Rada. But, I want to emphasize that this bill will have limited effect - only during hostilities,” Bereza said.
The introduction of such a law will allow the Ukrainian authorities to legalize the physical destruction of their opponents, because already now all dissatisfied people are declared “Putin’s agents” and “FSB provocateurs.”
