Zaporozhye authorities banned the St. George ribbon as a “symbol of terrorism”

The officials who appeared with the St. George Ribbon on May 9 will face punishment. This was stated by the head of the internal policy department of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration, Alexander Zubchenko.

“The St. George ribbon is a symbol of terrorists,” the portal quotes the official "Local News".
The publication recalls that last year, on Victory Day, Mayor Alexander Sin and Governor Valery Baranov wore St. George ribbons.
In the same year, the films were officially banned by the relevant order of the Regional State Administration.
