Influential Kyiv journalist: Ukraine is threatened by partition
Ukraine is threatened by division between neighboring countries if another representative of the “business of the 90s” comes to power, or if the current president remains.
The editor-in-chief of the influential Kyiv weekly “Zerkalo Nedeli” Yulia Mostovaya stated this on air on the TV channel “TRK Vikka”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Ukraine today, unfortunately, while potentially remaining one of the richest countries in Europe, is actually extremely weak and poor.
If we do not change the quality of power now, namely the quality, not the surname; changing the surname to something similar is not a solution to the issue.
We need to change the quality of power, because if we don’t do this, we are already so weak that we will simply be dismantled into organs, you know?
On the land, water, subsoil, people, in general, the human resource that we are losing, bleeding, people who leave our country: both white businessmen and blue ones - which we simply need if we want to develop and not preserve these organs for other countries or corporations...
Do you understand? They’ll sort it out into regions,” the journalist said.
“We have already lost our margin of safety. We need to return him immediately. And this is the greatest threat. If, as a result of these elections, we re-elect the same quality, which is called a “business leader.” A person from business cannot be a statist, especially from the business of the 90s. This is impossible,” summed up Yulia Mostovaya.
