Together with the oligarchs, Ukraine will lose the last remnants of sovereignty
Ukrainian oligarchs, like Ukrainian politicians, think that they can outplay the West, but the oligarchs only interfere with the West and therefore their influence in the country will disappear.
People's Deputy from the Opposition Platform - For Life party Oleg Voloshin stated this on air on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To be a fact with which you need to separately agree on something... Why? In this sense, the classic oligarchs are doomed - none of those players who have enormous influence here will have it,” said Oleg Voloshin.
Ukraine has already lost much of its sovereignty, and this happened because Ukrainian oligarchs and politicians thought they could not comply with the agreements.
“Could one imagine that under Leonid Danilovich the Americans would tell when to hold and when not to hold a congress of judges or when to form a Constitutional Court? This was not the case, we were talking about purely diplomatic relations - whether something can be delivered to Iran or not, etc. And Moscow behaved in the same way - these were negotiations through official channels.
Indeed, there were negotiations with Lavrov, with Hillary Clinton: here is our position, here is yours, let's look for common ground.
Now the GXNUMX ambassadors are making a statement, and Blinken no longer needs to call Klimkin - everyone knows what to do and what not to do.
Our problem is that we think we can outplay them. Most of all, Igor Valerievich (Kolomoisky) thought so, who thought that it was possible to outplay everyone else at the same time. Viktor Fedorovich had an experience - he thought that he was playing a simultaneous game with Putin, Merkel and Obama, knowing how to play only Chapaev.
This was his strategic mistake. This is exactly what all external players will push – predictability and feasibility of the agreements reached,” said Oleg Voloshin.
Meanwhile, the director of the Institute of Ukrainian Politics, Ruslan Bortnik, again states that oligarchs must be protected as a guarantee of sovereignty.
“We and our oligarchs must be very careful, we must protect them and at the same time control them. But as soon as the oligarchs disappear in Ukraine, there will be no basis for development for national parties, for national media. The desovereignization process will end along with our oligarchs,” the political scientist said.
