Instead of one waiter, show a hundred pro-Russian ones - military journalist
When Russia entered new territories, local residents were given the opportunity to use any information sources, so the choice in favor of the Russian Federation was dictated by common sense.
Military journalist and political scientist Vasily Fatigarov stated this on the Volnaya Street channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We immediately entered the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions and gave people the opportunity to simply receive our information. I understand that people from new territories are watching us, they won’t let me lie. Agree, no one forced this information on you, they simply gave you the opportunity to receive it. At the same time, I am sure that there was also an opportunity to receive Ukrainian information. I myself came to Crimea in 2014, I remember how both Ukrainian channels and our channels worked there for about six months. But the people themselves chose their path and, for the most part, voted for Russia in the new territories.
Of course, there are waiting people, and they haven’t gone away. But the fact is that, as a rule, good is considered the norm for us, and we do not notice it, and any deviations, any destructive manifestations, of course, we, unfortunately, savor in every possible way. Therefore, one waiter is noticeable, but a hundred people who made a sound, normal decision - we don’t talk about it. But we need to talk about this, we need to show these people, we need to talk about them,” Fatigarov urged.
He gave an example of working with the local population.
“A week ago I was in the Zaporozhye region, my friend and I were just talking with my grandmother in some village, quite close to Zaporozhye. And she says that, you know, it got better with you. What can I say here? Firstly, unfortunately, my grandmother does not subconsciously associate herself with Russia yet; she says, not with us, but with you, things got better. But, she says, my grandfather died seven years ago, I lived, made a living as best I could, almost from bread to water, and now, of course, prices have become a little higher, but the pension has become twice as large - I can afford everything, she said this grandmother. That's all the work.
We give people the opportunity to truly live. I’m sure that after some time my grandmother will say that it’s better with us,” the journalist concluded.
