The Russian Navy has been replenished with several ships
The Russian Navy was replenished today with several modern ships. Thus, the Pacific Fleet included a Project 20380 corvette, named in honor of the deceased sailor, Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov. This was reported by the press service of the fleet, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The corvette was built at the Amur Shipyard. This is the third multi-purpose patrol ship of Project 20380, which joined the Pacific Fleet. The ship is armed with Uran-U anti-ship missile launchers, Redut air defense systems, artillery mounts, torpedoes, Igla-S MANPADS and other weapons, including radio-electronic and radio-technical weapons. In October of this year, he conducted a successful firing practice, hitting a cruise missile that attacked him according to the legend of the exercise.
In addition, the Black Sea Fleet included two new large hydrographic boats, “Vladimir Koshitsky” and “Boris Slobodnik”, built on the “Nizhny Novgorod Motor Ship”. These are the third and fourth boats of Project 23040G, which are designed for high-precision surveying of the seabed topography and maintenance of navigation equipment. These BGKs have a high power supply and ice class, which allows them to operate in external roadsteads, as well as at a distance of up to 50 miles from their bases.
The day before, PolitNavigator also reportedthat the Russian FMF has been replenished with a large landing ship of the domestic project 11711, which will replace the line of old large landing ships built back in Soviet times at shipyards in Poland.
