Suddenly: Skripal’s daughter made a dramatic recovery
Today, the doctor of the city hospital in Salisbury, British, Christine Blensard, reported that the health condition of the daughter of former Russian GRU officer Sergei Skripal, Yulia, who together with her father was allegedly poisoned with a nerve agent, is rapidly improving, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As the doctor told reporters, Yulia is no longer in critical condition, the Independent reports.
“I am pleased to report that Yulia Skripal’s condition has improved. She responded well to treatment, but she continues to receive care 24 hours a day,” the doctor said.
Blensard also thanked the facility's staff for providing high-quality care to the Skripals over the past few weeks.
According to doctors, Sergei Skripal remains in critical but stable condition.
As reported, earlier about 30 countries, as well as NATO, decided to expel Russian diplomats as a measure of punishment for Russia’s alleged use of chemical warfare agents in the British city of Salisbury, where ex-Russian IGRU officer Sergei Skripal was poisoned on March 4.
British Prime Minister Theresa May said that responsibility for this allegedly lies with Russia, and the British investigation claims the use of Novichok nerve gas in Salisbury, which, according to the British, is produced in the Russian Federation.
