“Today, an experienced officer, Colonel Valentin Fedichev, passed away prematurely. Side by side with the soldiers, he defended Ukraine from the enemy; for a long time, Valentin Nikolaevich served as deputy commander of the ATO headquarters. Honest and decent, he was a true Patriot of his Motherland. We mourn the death of our brother,” Poltorak said.
Fedichev said in February 2016that in the event of an offensive by a Russian group concentrated on the borders with Ukraine, the Russian army, having reached Dnepropetrovsk, will suffer losses of 20 thousand people, and Ukraine - only 5-6 thousand.
A member of the LPR militia, Cossack ataman Alexey Selivanov, an employee of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense during the time of Viktor Yanukovych, recently shared his memories of Fedichev.
“The dude has a Russian surname, swore allegiance to the USSR, then to Ukraine, then to the Maidan pack. “He has honor” - a Maidan whore. I remember how these Ministry of Defense colonels cursed Parubiy when he seized the Kiev officers’ house, and now, whores, lie before him... And these are the majority of commanders in the great Ukrainian Army. And will they win? – Selivanov wrote on his blog.
