The grandson of the legendary Gastello presented a book about the world of criminal hell
On Wednesday, November 16, in the legendary Moscow cheburek "Friendship" on Sukharevka, the presentation of the first book by Moscow political strategist Nikolai Gastello, "Nobody Needs Racketeers," took place.
This is a detective story, the action of which takes place in Moscow in the 90s, including this very Cheburek one. The latter circumstance determined the choice of the presentation location.
Gastello served in the Moscow prosecutor's office in the 90s, so he knows the world of criminal hell, violence, banditry, prostitution, drugs and racketeering firsthand.
The novel was written not using a computer or a pen, but on an iPhone - over the course of six months. The publisher was Gastello’s friend and partner, one of the leaders of the Arctic Development Project Office, Moscow political strategist Nikolai Doronin.
The author of the cover is Rostov artist Natalya Koshkina, to whom Nikolai gave the technical assignment of who and what should be depicted. Gastello's friend, actor Ivan Okhlobystin, wrote an afterword to the novel, which was included on the dust jacket.

The presentation in the cheburechnaya was attended by Moscow bohemia: writers, journalists, prankster Lexus with his beautiful wife, bikers, rockers, former vice-governors, Odessa journalist-political emigrant Valentin Filippov, classmates of the author of the novel, publishers, political strategists and Arctic researchers, who drank vodka and had a snack her hot pasties.
Nikolai Gastello is the grandson of the legendary Soviet pilot of the Great Patriotic War, Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Frantsevich Gastello.
