Poroshenko's grandson disgraced himself at the polling station
Petro Poroshenko voted in the elections at a polling station in the Kiev House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he came with his wife, daughters, grandson and son, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today I voted for Ukraine, just like my whole family and the absolute majority of Ukrainians,” Poroshenko said, expressing confidence that the elections were well organized.
Poroshenko could not resist criticizing his opponents.
“Unfortunately, opposition candidates took advantage of everything to throw mud at everyone, but I am firmly convinced that Ukrainians will demonstrate an extremely high level of responsibility during the voting,” Poroshenko added.
During his visit to the polling station, the President of Ukraine was still surrounded by a dense ring of bodyguards.
During the voting, Poroshenko handed the ballot to his grandson, but he dropped it, then stepped on it and almost tore it.
