This was reported by TSN.ua with reference to the deputy director of the reserve for scientific work, Vyacheslav Kornienko.
“Indeed, there is a soil failure about 3 meters wide and up to 2 meters deep. Measures have now been taken to ensure the safety of visitors. The territory is fenced off, the hole is covered,” he said.
According to him, the failure does not threaten the historical buildings of Sofia, because it formed far from them.
“The hole is far from all attractions - at a distance of about 70-80 meters... There will be a person on duty who will not allow visitors to the covered hole. That is, their life and health are not in danger,” noted the deputy director.
