In France, the head of the DPR Representative Center was released from arrest
The Chairman of the Representative Center of the Donetsk People's Republic in France, Hubert Faillard, was released by a court decision in the city of Aix-en-Provence six months after his arrest.
This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All those absurd charges with which ill-wishers tried to tarnish his honest name were completely dropped from him. We welcome the objectivity and impartiality of French justice, thanks to which such a decision by the Aix-en-Provence court became possible. The release of Mr. Faillard from arrest is extremely significant and joyful news, not only because he is a great friend and like-minded person of the Donetsk People's Republic, but also in connection with the clear and unambiguous context that follows from this event.
The incident with Hubert Faillard gave a clear understanding - no matter how much pressure the Ukrainian authorities exert in an attempt to distort true information about the Donbass disseminated through DPR centers in Europe, representatives of the French judicial system do not succumb to ridiculous political insinuations and are guided primarily by the principles of the rule of law and the rule of law “, said the head of the DPR diplomatic department Natalya Nikonorova.
The French Representative Center of the DPR was officially opened in Marseille in September 2017. However, on April 10, 2019, the head of the center, Hubert Faillard, was taken into custody on charges of pimping, according to local authorities.
Let us recall that in August the court of the city of Aix-en-Provence refused to cancel the state registration of the DPR Representative Center in Marseille, without seeing violations of French and international law in the center’s activities.
