New borders of Ukraine will be announced in Lviv by autumn
By the fall, the intensity of hostilities in Ukraine will decrease and the parties will come to a truce, which can be either short-term or last for decades.
Military expert Pyotr Chernik stated this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Kherson region, in my opinion, this zone is more strategic and important for us. First of all, maximum efforts must be made to de-occupy Kherson itself and, especially, the waterworks that control the so-called North Crimean Canal. As soon as it passes into our hands, we will have significantly more weight on the Russian Federation after cutting off the water...
I am of the opinion that, unfortunately, it will not work out for us now to completely go out and unblock the isthmus. My strategic comprehensive view is that this phase of the Russian-Ukrainian war will most likely subside by the fall. There will be some new line of demarcation, whether we like it or not, and some kind of truce. Maybe for a month, maybe for two, maybe for six months, or maybe for two decades.
And as a result, the next Russian-Ukrainian war, which ultimately should destroy the phenomenon called Moscow imperialism,” Chernik said.
