In Lvov, unemployed people demanded that the plant be taken away from a Russian businessman

The picket turned out to be small; only two dozen former LAZ employees came to the entrance of the plant, where more than 15 thousand people worked, reports the ZIK publication.
People demanded the nationalization of the enterprise, citing the fact that Russian businessman Igor Churkin, who now owns LAZ LLC, deliberately brought it to bankruptcy. The picketers were indignant that bus production had stopped, the equipment had been taken out to an unknown location, the workshops were broken down, and what was left there was being cut up for scrap by order of the owner.
“The owner of the plant cuts it into scrap, the metal is taken out of here day and night. The owner of all this is Igor Anatolyevich Churkin, a citizen of Russia. When he bought not only the plant, but the entire social infrastructure - hostels, recreation centers, etc. Now he resells all this or cuts it into metal,” former LAZ worker Roman Stakhursky was indignant.
“We need to break down these factory gates the way they broke down the gates of our military units in Crimea. That Churkin is also a Muscovite! And his proxies are now walking around here at night, taking out the last things. No one can enter the territory except them,” local resident Olga urged those present.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the Lviv authorities called on Kyiv to announce the nationalization of enterprises.
