Lvov, June 12 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Lvov it will be possible to purchase a commemorative medal dedicated to the “Heavenly Hundred”.

The medal was made at Topaz LLC, and was designed by artist Oleg Denesenko. It is made in the ancient Russian style from a copper-nickel alloy, with a diameter of 35 mm and a thickness of 2 mm, reports Galnet.
As Denesenko said, the obverse of the medal depicts a Cossack cross with an ancient Russian ornament on the arms, intertwined with a stylized laurel wreath - a symbol of glory. In the center of the cross there is a trident, symbolizing statehood. The circular inscription: “Glory to Ukraine - Glory to the Heroes,” is made in a font in the “national style.” The reverse depicts the Archangel Michael defeating the dragon. In his right hand he has a fiery sword raised victoriously, in his left - a shield with a trident. The Archangel is dressed in stylized armor from the period of Ancient Rus'.
“I believe that this is my personal small contribution as an artist to the memory of the “Heavenly Hundred” - people who gave their lives for our state and future,” said the medal’s developer.
According to Vladimir Tsvok, director of Topaz LLC, the medal is planned to be produced in an edition of 5000 pieces. It will be sold in blister packaging, on which will be printed the spiritual and state anthem of Ukraine, the song “Kacha floats along Tisina” and a list of the names of the victims.
The preliminary cost of the medal, excluding the cost of packaging, is 25 UAH.
