Nazi pogromists of a gypsy camp will be tried in Lvov
Four of the eight young neo-Nazis who attacked the Roma camp will be tried in Lvov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office in the Lviv region.
“On October 22, the prosecutor’s office of the Lvov region sent to court an indictment against four teenagers who were suspected of committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 296 - hooliganism,” the message says.
Let us remind you that on the night of June 23-24, 2018, there was an organized attack on a Roma camp located on the outskirts of Lviv in a forest belt near Truskavetskaya Street. As a result of the pogrom, one Roma died and three more were injured.
During the pre-trial investigation, involvement in the commission of this crime was established and eight people, including seven minors, were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine. The attackers were related to the Nazi group C14. For the crime, the defendants face 3 to 7 years in prison.
