In Lvov, in order not to be left without chewing gum and chocolates, well-known manufacturers are lured away from Russia
Lvov, September 18 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Deputies of the Lvov City Council call on the city authorities to work together to develop investment proposals for international corporations, whose branches are located in Russia, to create distribution companies in Ukraine.

Deputy Anatoly Krachkovsky made such a proposal at today’s session of the City Council, reports Lviv Portal.
We are talking about world-famous manufacturers: “Mars Incorporated”, “Wrigley”, “Nestle” and others.
“All these brands are well known to the Ukrainian consumer and are widely advertised in the media. Buyers are accustomed to these brands, but they are forced to recover from them precisely because production facilities are registered in Russia,” says the deputy.
In his opinion, a mutually beneficial way out of this situation would be the transfer of production facilities or the opening of national branches of these corporations on the territory of Ukraine.
The deputy proposed to contact the Cabinet of Ministers to develop a similar set of measures at the state level, and the city authorities of Lvov to consider the possibility of introducing preferential conditions for such enterprises in Lvov.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Lvov they began to boycott Russian goods: they are labeled in stores and displayed in special places.
