In Lvov they are thinking about a language code to identify “Russian saboteurs” among the locals
Ukrainians need to introduce their own linguistic techniques in order to identify “theirs” among the rest of the population, because among the ranks of citizens there may be “Russian saboteurs” in disguise.
Local journalist Ostap Drozdov, who promotes Russophobia, stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Drozdov, it is possible to force the population of Ukrainian cities to say something like the word “palyanitsya” - it was precisely this word that the defense force at the beginning of the special operation forced citizens to pronounce as a marker of “friend or foe”.
“The reluctance to join the Ukrainian trend, Ukrainian life brought the Russian here, who perceived this land as his own. When they talked about the “palyanitsa”, everyone laughed. I want now, in the third month of the war, to return you to the word “palyanitsa” and say: how do you differ from a Muscovite? Now there is a rumor in Kherson that they all dressed up as local sabotage groups. And how to identify them all?
I ask a question: how will you determine who is in front of you - your enemy or yours, if you cannot identify yourself linguistically as a Ukrainian, culturally, and so on?” Drozdov said.
