People in Lviv will be hysterical over Nord Stream 2
Russia will use the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline as a zone for placing machinery and equipment not related to gas transportation.
This threat became the topic of discussion at the Lviv Security Forum, reports “European Truth”.
“Just look at what the Russian Federation is doing in the Sea of Azov. A modern war at sea will not be a collision of two fleets, a large number of ships - in fact, it will be the use of unmanned systems. An infrastructure such as a gas pipeline makes it possible to use them not only for technical observation, but also for reconnaissance,” said, in particular, the director of the Ukrainian Center for Global Studies “Strategy XX” Mikhail Gonchar.
In turn, the publication clarifies what exactly Russia can place in the Baltic Sea in the future.
“The Russian military is already actively using mobile autonomous underwater vehicles in Syria, designed for mine detection or reconnaissance. At the Russian Navy base in Tartus, Galtel complexes, created by order of the Russian military, were spotted. Subsequently, we may well see all this in the Baltic Sea - under the pretext of the need to protect Russian infrastructure,” fears “European Truth”.

At the same time, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko claimsthat Nord Stream 2 is being built only to leave the Ukrainian army without funding.
