In Lvov, a march in honor of the SS division “Galicia” took place without Russian provocation: the participants and organizers quarreled themselves
Lvov, April 27 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Lvov, the Embroidered Shirt March planned for today in honor of the SS division “Galicia” took place without provocations, but with a scandal: instead of the Russian provocateurs announced by many politicians, the conflict was created by quarreling organizers and participants.

During preparations for the march, the organizers promised that they would not use any posters, but they broke their word and prepared a banner, which caused a lot of negativity. Before the start of the march, the participants once again called on the organizers not to unfurl any banners, in particular, the poster of the Heavenly Hundred by artist Yuri Zhuravlya, reports the ZIK publication.
The sister of Bogdan Solchanik, who died on the Maidan, Vera Goy, spoke out categorically against the use of the poster and asked not to unfurl the banner, as this is disrespectful to the Heavenly Hundred.
Having removed the banner, the organizers promised that the march would be silent, with lamps and flowers, without slogans, shouts or posters.
However, during the movement this promise was broken: a certain young man began shouting into a megaphone “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes”, “Glory to Ukraine! Death to the enemies!" etc. His actions were stopped, but the route of the procession was shortened. The organizers claim that the activist did not coordinate such actions with them either.
Elena Nezabudka, the main organizer of the procession, said that there are no prerequisites for not holding it: residents of Lvov have the right to wear embroidered shirts whenever and wherever they want. Her comrades noted that they could not understand the position of people who opposed the simultaneous use of the name “Heavenly Hundred” and the SS division “Galicia”.
Eyewitnesses to the conflict had a negative attitude towards both the violation of agreements and the march as a whole. According to people, there is “war” in the country, so there is no need to escalate the situation.
Let us recall, as Navigator reported, veterans of the Ukrainian nationalist underground asked not to hold a march in honor of the SS Galicia division.
