This was reported by the police communications department in the Lviv region.
“Today, June 2, at 9.30, the police received a report that unknown persons had poured red paint on the Monument of Glory on Stryiska Street in Lviv. A police squad, as well as an investigative and operational group, were sent to the scene of the incident,” said law enforcement officers.
Law enforcement officers are currently working on the scene to establish the circumstances of the incident and those involved. The issue of opening criminal proceedings is being resolved.
In photographs published on social networks, one can see that the nationalist vandals also wrote the word “Occupation” in white paint.
