This opinion was expressed in an interview with Kraina magazine by the head of the department of the University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Rostislav Slavyuk.
“There should be no unaccounted benefits in the social sphere,” says the Lvov professor. – Starting from free travel to subsidies for “participants of the Battle of Kulikovo.” We need to replace them with real money - add them to salaries and pensions. Then huge funds will appear in the budget. Because every benefit is corruption. After all, in order to receive compensation for transporting benefit passengers, any structure must go to the government offices.”
