Let us remind you that problems with waste disposal in Lviv began due to the closure of city landfills. As a result, the capital of Galicia has to negotiate with other regions of Ukraine on the removal of waste to their landfills. This often causes protests from local residents, blocking access for Lviv trucks to landfills.

According to one version, the administration of Petro Poroshenko is specifically harming the mayor of Lvov, Andrei Sadovoy, by influencing the position of his Samopomich party in the Verkhovna Rada.
