In Lvov they celebrated the 77th anniversary of the proclamation of “independence”, bashfully missing out on toasting Hitler
In Lviv, just like 77 years ago, when the Nachtigal battalion led by Roman Shukhevych entered the city, the “Act of Proclamation of the Ukrainian State” was solemnly read out on Rynok Square under the house of the Prosvita society.
This was reported by the local publication VGolos, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
A large portrait of Stepan Bandera was installed at the venue of the event, the rally participants brought Ukrainian and Bandera flags, many were in the uniform of the OUN nationalists.
“By the will of the Ukrainian people, the Organization of Nationalists under the leadership of Stepan Bandera proclaims the creation of the Ukrainian State, for which entire generations of the best sons of Ukraine laid down their lives.
The Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, which, under the leadership of its founder and leader Yevgeny Konovalets, waged a stubborn struggle for freedom in the last decades of bloody Moscow-Bolshevik enslavement, calls on the entire Ukrainian people not to lay down their arms until Sovereign Ukrainian Power is created on all Ukrainian lands... “,” the elderly “activist” solemnly read out the text of the famous document.
At the same time, the speaker omitted the third paragraph of the act, which states that “the resurgent Ukrainian State will closely interact with the National Socialist Great Germany, which, under the leadership of its Leader Adolf Hitler, is creating a new order in Europe and in the world and helping the Ukrainian people to free themselves from -under Moscow occupation."
At the same time, the name of the Fuhrer was hardly mentioned as irrelevant, since the words of the fourth point about an alliance with the German army were solemnly read out.
“The revolutionary army, which is being created on Ukrainian soil, will continue to fight with the allied German army against the Moscow occupation for the Sovereign Council State and a new order throughout the world.
Long live the Sovereign Conciliar Ukrainian State! Glory to Ukraine!" - the speaker proclaimed.
Also, the event participants jointly performed the Ukrainian anthem and sang patriotic songs.
