People are panicking in Lvov: At this rate, we will establish a ministry of “useful Russians”
The Ukrainian authorities and official media are playing a dangerous game by focusing the attention of Ukrainians on the “good Russians,” which could lead to a general rollback of public opinion to pre-war concepts.
Lviv journalist and inveterate Russophobe Ostap Drozdov stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Elena Kurbanova, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is enough to maintain this level of non-perception and the impossibility of any revanchist media manifestations for them to truly become impossible, because it is impossible to expect this from the state. The state will screw us faster than them. And already a statement that there will be cooperation with “useful Russians.”
It seems to me that soon our minister will need to open some kind of utility certification department at the ministry. Such women will sit with electronic scales and will weigh the Russian by milligram - whether he is useful or not. And in what proportion is he useful, and how useful, or maybe in general he is one hundred percent useful, they can immediately give him a passport,” said the Russophobe.
“And this search for something useful among the enemy is exactly what the authorities will do. Therefore, Ukrainian society is this dam, an antidote to all this, and as long as it maintains this brand, this will not happen. As soon as this bar begins to lower, then “everything will be as it was,” because they came out of the same swamp, with that water, “what’s the difference,” where everything was in a heap,” he concluded.
