This was reported by the local publication “Forpost” with reference to information from the coordinator of the Wart 1 organization, Igor Zinkevich.
It is reported that the participants in the mass brawl (about 40 people) were detained by law enforcement agencies until all the circumstances were clarified. No one sought medical help.
The publication recalls that the reason for the fight was the 15th round match of the Ukrainian Championship among amateur teams that took place this afternoon. The rival of FC Lviv at the SKA stadium was FC Niva from Terebovlya.
The publication also notes that the majority of representatives of the fan movement in Ukraine are carriers of right-wing views. Only a few club groups are carriers of leftist (in the conditions of Galicia, left-nationalist - Ed) ideas. In particular, left-wing nationalists who actively use the symbols and rhetoric of anarchism and socialism are the Autonomous Resistance, whose members at the local level oppose the militants of “Svoboda” and one of its leaders, Yuri Mikhalchishin.
